European Blackjack is played with two decks and it is popular game in casino. The dealer should stand on 17. In European version, players can only double down on 9 and 11. This can be difficult situation to those highly violent players that love doubling about anything when the dealer has a 5 or 6 showing. A player is not allowed to split after once splitting and not double down on a split. There is no forfeit option. The house has a 0.39% advantage. Rules to play: - The game is played with two standard decks of 52playing cards
- 8 decks of cards, reshuffle after every round
- All face cards- Kings, Queens and Jacks have a value of 10.
- Dealer must draw to 16
- Aces can have a value of either 11 or 1
- Even money pays 1 to 1
- Blackjack pays 3 to 2
- Insurance pays 2 to 1
- Dealer stands on soft 17
- Double down on Splits
- Double down on 9, 10, 11
- No re-splits
- No splitting 4s, 5s and 10-valued cards
- Early forfeit half of bet on Non-Dealer Ace
Playing The dealer is deal with one card face up and the player is deal with two cards face up. The “No Peek” rule in European Blackjack means that the dealer cannot try to see if he has blackjack until the second dealer card is dealt, after players has finished their hands. So, if the dealer does end up with blackjack, you will lose other additional bet. The dealer can only get the game on the hand, if the dealer first card is an Ace or a 10-value card. Winning: - When the player hands finished, the dealer deals his 2nd card. Winning and Insurance hands are paid out as per rules.
- The dealer should stand on 17 (hard or soft).
- The dealer should hit on 16 or less.
- Any player hands that have not busted is winning hands, if the dealer busts (exceed 21)
- When the dealer stands on 17 or higher or the higher count than the player’s hand- the dealer wins, and if the player hand has the higher count- the player wins.
- If the dealer and the player have the same total, then it’s a “push” (tie). Your bet is give back to you. If the player hand busts and the dealer, the dealer totally wins.
